Pan Sharboro (CPPS) where some campers were presented
with a hand-made award with a colored arrow mounted to a plaque.
Usually given out at the final Assembly on the last day of camp.
"SILVER
ARROW" - for 5 Bulls Eyes (not pictured).
"GOLDEN
ARROW" - for 10 Bulls Eyes or more (shown below).

year campers
would swim laps to raise funds to help find a cure for Cystic
Fibrosis at Camp Peter Pan Sharboro (CPPS).
Those campers who participated received one of the following Cystic

The following item was displayed on a camp bus which transported
campers to Camp Peter Pan Sharboro (CPPS).
This sign has a magnetic backing which would allow it to be affixed
to the outside of a vehicle for easy identification.

The
following 'custom mounted award plaque' was presented to Erwin
Lehrer (camp director) in 1989 at his 50th birthday party.
The award was presented by Stuart Schoenfeld (archery instructor)
and Bob Upton (pool staff).
This award is proudly displayed in Erwin's home.

Erwin
the leader with a heart of gold
Keeping campers happy 'til Peter Pan was sold
Basketball,
softball, and everything fun
Erwin "the sportsman" played 'til he won
Commanding
the games with his endless rules
No one would argue and look like a fool
Waiting
for snipe stories on a rainy overnight
Erwin would tell them with chilling fright
As Tinkerbell
weaving his magical spell
He would dance, sing, and blast powder as well
Hiking
to Lost Airport was something never missed
Because "Erwin's Animals" would travel to Bliss
Rainy
day madness never caused any debating
Erwin would yell. "Aay, let's go rollerskating!"
And
as with everything great that must come to an end
We will remember Erwin the leader, the athlete, and the
special friend.
